What does the new format do?

In the new format, we introduced UI changes in the data management table to improve usability.

Users can upload files without initially assigning Models (tags) and later assign them via the Data Management table. Also, users are able to easily visualize the uploaded files with model and persona tags through the table.

Details:

In the past, files that are relevant to multiple models had to be uploaded multiple times. Now, each file will be uploaded only once, and be tagged with all of the Models and Personas for which it is relevant.
- Will save time, resources, and be easier to manage.
Can now select multiple rows and assign models in bulk.
When uploading a source, if another file with the same name already exists a warning will pop up.
As always, users can upload multiple sources at a time, and assign models to them later.
One feature of this update will allow customers to make edits to their data management table easily and efficiently in an exported file.

Feature: Disclaimer after Import and Ingest

Shows an indication of how many sources lack assignment.
When all sources have the mandatory tag - the disclaimer will disappear.
Inside the mandatory filter - we will have the option for “unassigned”.
- Selecting it will display only the unassigned rows.

How do users navigate the new format?

To upload new sources, click blue "Upload sources" button and drag and drop or upload files from device. Click import and ingest.

If a file attached has the same name as an already existing file, an error will appear saying the file already exists. Users can then attach a different file or change the name in order to continue uploading the source.
Users do not have to assign models or personas right away in order to upload the file. This can be done later.

To assign models or personas to a file, the user can do one of the following options:

Click the cell under models/personas in the row of the file you wish to assign, and type.
Multi-assign by clicking the check-boxes on the left-most column. Then select assign model (or persona) in the menu on the bottom of the screen, and type into the search bar on the right of the screen.
Use Import/Export feature.

Import/Export Feature

This feature will allow customers to make changes to rows without access to the platform, and help all users easily and efficiently make changes to large amounts of files.

Details

Users can export the rows to an excel and share the excel with their customer.
Once changes have been made to the excel, it can then be re-imported, and the changes will be reflected in the rows.

How does the Import/Export feature look?

How do users navigate the Import/Export feature?

Hover over the 3 dot menu next to the blue “upload new sources” button.
Click “Export”.
Make changes to the Excel file (specifically models and personas ONLY).
When ready, hover over the 3 dot menu next to the blue “upload new sources” button again.
Click “Import” and import the updated Excel file.
See the changes reflected in the rows.

- Changes in the table will only be applied to models and personas cells.

💡 All customers will be migrated to this format automatically.
